The Edit: Free People

Like Urban Outfitters, Free People is definitely more of a dorm room sort of shop if your looking at it from an interior design angle. Even though it doesn't have furniture or bedding, Free People's lovely blankets (my favorite is the chunky cable knit one featured above), posters, pillows, chimes and vintage records will give any room a lovely, boho, free feel.

Style: Marble

I adore black and white marble phone cases, laptop cases and fashion inspired prints, and the same goes for marble interior details. Although marble is traditionally used in the bathroom and for flooring, I love seeing it in the kitchen, as tables and as staircases. It brings a luxurious and modern feel to any home. Here are some of my favorite marble interiors.

The Edit: Polyvore

Polyvore serves as one of my greatest creative outlets. I used to use it just for fashion sets, but now that I've moved into interior design more, that will definitely change. Here are some of my favorite interior design / apartment sets from various users, including myself.

Style: Luxe

Even though I know I could never fully live like this, a small part of me still wants to live in the lap of luxury. I would never go all out luxury, but instead take little bits and details of the luxe apartment style and incorporate them into the eclectic apartment in my head. For example, velvet furnishings / sofas, chandeliers, pouf-y chaises, grand lounge chairs / seats and gilded mirrors are perfect ways to bring a little bit of opulence to your home.
