The first interior design style I fell in love with was Scandinavian. I have Swedish family, and each time they remodeled their homes I would go over and become inspired. Scandinavian inspired interiors are very simple, cozy, modern and often geometric. There are lots of wooden details, large hanging lamps, patterned items, texture, low beds, functional storage, chunky blankets and curved chairs. The color scheme is mainly neutral with tiny pops of color in plants, pillows and knick knacks. Here are some of my favorite Scandinavian interior photographs.

Style Crush: Sasha Luss
Sasha Luss is by far my favorite high fashion model of all time. She was born and Russia and grew up doing ballet, then at age thirteen was signed to a modeling agency. Since then, she has walked for Chanel, Lanvin, Valentino, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior and Elie Saab. She has been on the cover of Vogue Russia twice, captivating everyone with her platinum blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Personally, I adore her off duty style. Like me, she loves stripes, leather jackets, fur coats and black designer handbags. I've collected some of my favorite shots of her below.

Style: Window Paned Walls
Lately I've been loving spaces that are divided up by paneled windows, as pictured below. Instead of closing off your space with traditional walls, it opens up place more and brings an industrial feel as well. Why hide your rooms away? Show them off!

Inspiration: Florence
The moment I learned that I would be going to Florence, Italy this summer for 10 days, I burst into tears. Florence has been at the very top on my travel list for years, and to be able to visit my family and all the art museums and restaurants I've dreamed about is absolutely incredible. My family is Italian, and my Aunt took this picture above from the view of her home. You can see the city of Florence just over the tree line. Here are some photographs I've collected that are currently inspiring me and making me want this summer to be tomorrow!
